Aaptharakshaka Kannada film was released on February 19, 2010 and running successfully to become another blockbuster for P.Vasu.

Now the film is planned to remake Aptha Rakshaka in Telugu, P.Vasu himself is going to direct the film and latest news finalized that Victory Venkatesh will be the hero of this big venture tentatively titled as " Chandramukhi 2". Producer Bellamkonda Suresh acquired the rights of the film. He is going to remake it in Telugu under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner.

Now sources confirmed that Anushka will be palying as Heroine in tentatively titled "Chandramukhi 2". Koti who viewed a special preview of Apta Rakshaka will compose the music for this Horror backdrop film. Chandramukhi 2 movie will go to sets in May.

After the 2004 blockbuster film Apthamitra( dubbed in Telugu and Tamil as "Chandramukhi") that was written directed by Vasu and starring Vishnuvardhan. Aaptharakshaka a sequel to Apthamitra was released in 2010 which was written and directed by P. Vasu and Sri Late Vishnuvardhan played as male lead in his 200th and posthumous film along with Sandhya, Vimala Raman.

Aaptharakshaka film was released on February 19, 2010 and running successfully to become another blockbuster for P.Vasu.

Mahesh Babu's much awaited movie " Kaleja" is progressing at a brisk pace in a huge set erected at Vikarabad, Hyderabad.

Mahesh Babu and Trivikram, who together scripted the mega blockbuster 'Athadu', team up again for 'Kaleja'. The action entertainer was tentatively titled 'Varudu' in the beginning, but the director made some changes to the script later and hence the name change. Sexy beauty Anushka is acting as the female lead.

The film was initially brought to sets with name " Varudu" but later has been renamed as Kaleja,which is the first choice between two names decided by the makers as Kaleja and khiladi.

After the tremendous success of Athadu (2005), this is the second time Mahesh Babu teams up with director Trivikram Srinivas in Kaleja, touted to be an adventurous, comedy-oriented love story, produced by Singanamala Ramesh under the banner of Kanakarathna Movies.

Mahesh Babu plays the role of a taxi driver, while Prakashraj is the villain. Sunil and Brahmanandam have key roles in this movie being cinematographed by ace Bollywood cameraman Sunil Patel of Hum Tum and Bachna Ae Haseeno fame. Mani Sharma composing the music.

Samantha who made her debut in Tollywood with 'Yemaya Chesave' opposite Naga Chaitanya which was directed by Gautham Menon grabbed opportunity to act opposite Young Tiger Jr. NTR. According the latest reports, she has signed a movie produced by Dil Raju which is titled Brindavanam. She would be acting alongside Jr.NTR and Kajal Agarwal. Samantha pursued her modeling course and entered the field of acting and debuting in Tollywood with Yemaya Chesave.

Jr NTRs next film is titled as "Brindavanam" with the tag line "Govindudu Andari Vaadele".which is being produced by Dil Raju. This film is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Munna fame. whilst actors Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rishi and Srihari play pivotal roles.

Film shooting was started in Oct 2009 and currently inprogress. The budget of this movie is about 32 crores. Kick, Anjaneyulu film Music Director S.S. Thaman is composing music for "Brindavanam".
